About the Tracker
Everything you need to know about eldenboss.com
What is Elden Ring Boss Tracker?
Elden Ring Boss Tracker (eldenboss.com) is a free, browser-based checklist tool for Elden Ring and its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It lets you track every boss across all 36 regions of the Lands Between — from the grassy cliffs of Limgrave to the haunted depths of the Abyssal Woods. With 235 bosses catalogued (base game + DLC + unmarked field bosses), it is one of the most comprehensive Elden Ring boss checklists available.
The tracker was built for players who want to achieve a completionist run — defeating every boss the
game has to offer — without losing track of progress across long play sessions. Your checkmarks save
automatically in your browser using localStorage. No account, no login, no data sent to
any server.
The tracker also includes an interactive map with pin markers for over 130 surface bosses, letting you quickly identify which bosses you still need to visit on the world map.
How to Use the Boss Tracker
- Open eldenboss.com in any modern browser — no installation needed.
- Select a region from the left sidebar (e.g., Limgrave, Liurnia of the Lakes, Caelid).
- Browse the boss list for that region. Use the filter buttons to show All, Required, Optional, Defeated, or Remaining bosses.
- Click a boss card to mark it as defeated. The card will dim and the region counter will update automatically.
- Use the Search box at the top of the sidebar to quickly find any boss by name across all regions.
- Switch to the Map tab to see pin markers for surface bosses. Click a pin to jump directly to that boss.
- Your progress saves automatically — just reload the page and your checkmarks are still there.
- Use Reset All in the header if you start a New Game+ run and want to clear your progress.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does my progress save automatically?
Yes. Every time you check off a boss, the change is saved to your browser's localStorage
immediately. There is no save button — just click and your progress is stored. This works offline too,
as long as you use the same browser on the same device.
Will my progress carry over to another device or browser?
No — progress is stored locally in your browser only. It does not sync across devices. If you want to continue on a different device, you'll need to re-enter your progress manually. We may add import/export functionality in a future update.
How do I reset my progress for a New Game+ run?
Click the Reset All button in the top-right corner of the page. This will clear all your defeated boss checkmarks and return the tracker to a fresh state. This action cannot be undone, so make sure you're ready before clicking.
What counts as a "required" boss?
Required bosses are those you must defeat to progress the main story — the Great Rune holders (Godrick, Rennala, Radahn, Morgott, Rykard, Malenia, Mohg are optional but major) and the mandatory bosses on the critical path to any of the game's endings. Optional bosses are all other encounters you can skip without blocking story progression.
Does the tracker include Shadow of the Erdtree DLC bosses?
Yes — all 15 DLC regions from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion are included, covering every boss from the Gravesite Plain to Enir-Ilim. DLC bosses are clearly grouped in their own regional sections in the sidebar.
What does the map show?
The map tab shows the Lands Between world map with pin markers for all surface bosses that have known coordinates — roughly 130 pins in total. Underground bosses (Nokron, Siofra River, Mohgwyn Palace, etc.) and DLC bosses (which take place in the Land of Shadow, a separate underground area) do not appear on the surface map, but they are fully tracked in the boss list.
Can I move or customize the map pins?
Yes. In map editing mode (toggle the edit button on the map view), you can drag pins to new positions
to correct inaccuracies, or add new pins for bosses that don't yet have coordinates. Your custom pin
positions are saved to localStorage alongside your boss progress.
Is the tracker affiliated with FromSoftware or Bandai Namco?
No. eldenboss.com is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FromSoftware, Bandai Namco, or any other rights holder. Elden Ring and all associated content are property of FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment.
Do you track any personal data?
No personal data is collected. Boss progress is stored entirely in your own browser's
localStorage and never transmitted anywhere. The site uses Google AdSense to display
advertisements, which may use cookies for ad personalization. See our
Privacy Policy for full details.
I found a missing or incorrect boss — how do I report it?
The tracker is open source. You can open an issue or submit a pull request on GitHub. Alternatively, if you notice a boss listed under the wrong region, a misspelled name, or a missing boss entirely, feel free to reach out and we'll get it corrected.
Tips for a Completionist Run
Work region by region
Elden Ring's open world makes it easy to skip areas accidentally. Use the tracker's region list to work through each area methodically before moving on. The sidebar progress counter (e.g., "7 / 21") lets you see at a glance how much of each region you've cleared.
Don't miss the night bosses
Several bosses only appear at night — the Deathbird and Bell Bearing Hunter encounters are easy to miss. Rest at a Site of Grace until nightfall and explore your current region thoroughly before moving on. The tracker labels these as Night Boss in the type field.
Evergaol bosses require a special item
Evergaol bosses are locked inside magical prisons on the map. To enter an evergaol and fight the boss within, you need the Finger Severer item, which you receive early in the game from Melina. These are all optional but count toward a full completion.
Some bosses are missable
A small number of bosses can be permanently missed due to story progression — most notably bosses in Leyndell, which transforms after burning the Erdtree. Make sure to clear Leyndell thoroughly before progressing that story beat. The tracker's Required filter helps you prioritize story bosses.
DLC access requires in-game preparation
To access the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, you must first defeat Starscourge Radahn and then interact with Miquella's Cocoon in Mohgwyn Palace. DLC bosses in the tracker are only reachable after completing these prerequisite steps in-game.
